MovieWatch

Overview

MovieWatch is a native Android application built as a university project. It connects to The Movie Database (TMDb) API to serve up-to-date data on "Now Playing", "Popular", and "Upcoming" films.

The Challenge

The goal was to transition from legacy XML layouts to modern declarative UI using Jetpack Compose, handling async network requests cleanly with Coroutines and Retrofit.
